Ronald Reagan is one of my favourite US presidents, in addition to George Washington, James Madison, James Monroe, James Knox Polk, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Theodore Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Barack Obama.

Reagan Country,We love you President Reagan And Nancy Always and forever.
I truly appreciated this talk. I have felt for years that the role of first lady has been under valued. But, I had no true idea how much so. Thank you for sharing what you have learned.

100%
thank you !
😊😊
Miss you so much President Reagan, i miss your style your ideals, your wonderful Nancy . I would like to relive your years of Presidency again, again and again!! God bless you
Reagan who broke the back of communism must be rolling over in his grave seeing the gop turn into russian collaborators.
Thanks
He is responsible for the misinformation and corruption in the gop today. It started with him. He began the de struction of the middle class and normalized religion in our government. Now yhe press is no longer responsible for the truth, and much of our electorate wants to pretend this life is a dress rehesrsal.
I miss you, President Reagan
I just now really listened to this speech. Listening and hearing the words. Jeez man, Reagans entire speech sounds like its a peaceful love letter to the world. But its not at all. Its full of threats, demands.
Oh actually I never knew that this iconic library is abstained from government funding. The next time I visit, I'll surely donate thousands of dollars to the cause.
There would be nobody left to dig it back up if it weren't for this great speech of the century!
they knew they nominated the wrong man you can see the regret in their faces, this is legendary.
He may have meant well, and I truly believe it, but what the US did next is not in line with this speech
Hello Freedom Man.😢
One of my favorite Presidents. This loss, though painful did help him come 1980, as he lerned from that experience.
Reagan was a great president and I miss him.
'Star Wars' as in 'Lasers From Space' was during the Reagan administration, no? But it was a failed program. 'Rods From God' is another novel idea, but (1) weather and (2) cost of getting things up to orbit have been prohibitive to sci-fi.
Nice🇺🇸👍
Addressing nuclear/missile threats as the cause of wars, enhancing alliance's defense and deterence capablilities, facilitating ceasefire of ongoing wars and de-escalation of volatile security environment, enhancing strategic stability and predictability towards TCBMs, and reubuilding arm control/disarmament (as 'Peace through Strength' or new 'New SDI' projects), Could the U.S. and allies/partners, specifically NATO member states and Japan, discuss the possibility of a joint development of ( i ) interoperable and 'exclusively defensive' fighter jets (F-35 Lightning II-B, F-15/16 etc.), UAVs and air/land/marine drones with AI program ensuring nuclear/conventional risk reduction, fail safe, non-civilan-harming, and non-intervention to internationally recognized borders; and ( ii ) interoperable and 'exclusively defensive' laser-type Aegis anti-air/missile defense system, to be equipped with destroyers, coastal guard ships, and (automous) military trucks? I believe that these defense and deterence capabilities are effective to address and combating wars and conflcts in Ukraine, Gaza, Taiwan strait, Korean Peninsula, Red Sea and Hormz Strait effectively, but also could realize an integrated alliance towards the open, free, peaceful and prosperous Indo-Pacific order and a world without nuclear weapons, specifically rebuilding the lost INF and ABM Treaties in the way of including China?
This is reall republicans ❤❤
And they all knew: “ we just nominated the wrong person!”
Do you have my brother that was in the Marine Corps?
My childhood hero was Winston Churchill but Ronald Reagan (along with Margeret Thatcher and Pope John Paul) was the hero of my life. I didn’t always agree with all his positions but his combination of great communication skills, sound political vision and most of all a profound love of America, our people and our constitution. He recovered the American spirit, defeated the evil Soviet empire and set us almost a generation of prosperity and confidence. We again need men of his ilk today to lead us out of our new dark age. Btw, I remember listening live to that speech (as a 12 year old ) on our porch looking at the Atlantic Ocean in Maine with my father and Grandfather. My grandfather looked at us and said about Ford being nominated, “they just picked the wrong horse.”
This guy just sucks. Do better RL
Wow we live in a different time and place. Very sad. This is awesome
The 1964 speech was for Goldwater and nor RR, and you can tell by some errors in person in lines. Karl Hess was prevailed upon by Nancy and others to let Reagan give “The Speech” and Goldwater acceded. Check it out.
Republicans that night realized they had made the wrong choice. Never again would they not go with their hearts desire.
That man is an imposter. They're going to try and create fake documents and put them on. Ronald Reagan retroactively by claiming them to be legitimate when they are not.
Outstanding President.
Nice job, Joanne! I remember like it was yesterday that you showed up at the Inaugural offices one night, I was deluged with phone calls and no help. You asked if you help, and I said “YES! Start answering phones!” You did, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Really nice show, thanks. Being born in 1965, Ive seen many presidents. I cant think of anyone who carried the mantle of the presidency with greater ease and grace then Reagan
